The Baby Board is a paediatric device that's designed to allow operators to safety immobilise and transport infants in an ambulance. It attaches easily to the stretcher, with the child's immobilisation being ensured by an adjustable harness. The proper positioning of the cervical spine is guaranteed by the Pneumatic Positioning Device (PPD), a pneumatic adjustment system that allows the operator to adjust the pressure of the head immobiliser cushions.
The Baby Board can be used for paediatric patients 1 to 7 kg in weight.
It immobilises the cervical spine. The device features an integrated pneumatic positioning device (PPD), which allows the operator to precisely adjust the position of the cervical spine and the extension of the head with ease.
It's safe and practical. The adjustable three-point harness system guarantees the complete immobilisation of the infant. What's more, the restraints with easy-to-fasten Velcro closures allow for different fastening configurations.
It's easy to transport. It's extremely compact and weighs just 2.5 kg.
It's radiolucent. If necessary, the device can even be brought into diagnostic departments without any problems.
It's easy to clean. The Cordura coating is easy to thoroughly clean.
